Dictionary

Oxytocin = sejenis hormon yang menggalakkan kontraksi pada uterine untuk pengencutan uterus bertambah semasa pelahiran dan meransangkan pengeluaran susu dari kelenjar mamari.

Osteoporosis = kehilangan tisu tulang yang mengakibatkan tulang-tulang yang rapuh dan mudah patah.

Colostrum = air susu yang pertama daripada buah dada yang berlaku sebaik sahaja kelahiran yang mengandungi serum, sel-sel darah putih serta antibodi-antibodi pelindung. 2 hingga ke 4 hari selepas kelahiran.

Sterile = bebas sepenuhnya daripada mikroorganisma (kuman) yang mungkin menyebabkan jangkitan.

SIDS = sindrom bayi mati mengejut. Cot Death, kematian bayi yang biasanya berlaku pada waktu malam atas sebab-sebab yang tidak diketahui.
